Walk in Nature and Be Present is as much a project as it is a directive for others to experience nature.

Nature is a place of meditation for me. If I am gone too long, I feel the energy drain and I must return. It centers me and rejuvenates my spirit. I don’t expect everyone to share this connection but I do hope to encourage others to seek nature’s beauty.

Harold Hatch documents Northeast Vermont in the 1900s

I had the privilege to work on a project to archive glass-plate negatives and ambrotypes for the Danville Vermont Historic Society. Harold Hatch’s collection of a couple thousand images includes photographs of daily life, portraits of the community, local industry, and the surrounding landscape.
